also MJ did not write "she's out of my life" either. A friend of mine once argued how several songs were rip off of MJ's 'Off the Wall.' I let him go on and on off and on for a few days then I told him... [Edited 7/27/10 4:37am] "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

I need to become a musician-I can't hear that. Having said that I've never owned a MJ record |

When a song is released and when it was composed r two entirely differnt things, besides..P definately ripped off the 1940's wizard of oz classic 'ding dong the wicked witch is dead' with the song 'wedding feast' Wake up children, dance the dance electric... there isn't much time.... who farted? ...was it u? |

He did do it on the early shows...it is circulating. Pretty good job, but the one I have the audio goes out on the second verse unfortunatly. I believe it is the first recording of his live show @ the Capri in Minnteapolis. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records. |

ARE YOU BEING SARCASTIC,OR IS THIS A GENUINE QUESTION? I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE SINGS THIS PARTICULAR SONG BECAUSE WHEN I HEARD IT ON THE 'FOR YOU' CD IT WAS VERY FAMILIAR TO ME ,ONLY I DON'T FEEL AS IF IT WAS PRINCE . IT HAS BEEN NAGGING ME EVER SINCE. IT WAS PLAYED PRETTY REGULARLY BACK THEN AND I LOVED IT THEN. I THINK U KNOW HOW IT IS WHEN U NEED TO KNOW SOMETHING JUST TO QUIET THAT 'WHERE HAVE I HEARD THAT BEFORE'. |

intresting, the one i have heard (from the omni in alt March 6thj 1980) is 11 minutes. (and has the line "in these lights of mine" which is where I assume the set got its name) it cuts out for a few seconds. but it comes back for the a nice jam. Forget about the Superhero original versions and go for the 4DaFunk upgrades.
You won't find any gaps in the sound. |

Written at age 19
much of it was, but some was done by Chris Moon and went uncredited.
but then again some of it was written by prince at 17ish. Several of the songs were done before the WB contract. Some recorded originally at moonstuidos and some at sound 80. What tracks were on the original demos used to get his contract. I am not sure. But several songs from 'For You.' "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |
