Dance 4 Me Chords? So I know this thread isn't the best idea in order to inspire interesting discussion but...

I wish Prince would put music sheets on his website to buy per song. The books seldom have all the ones that I like and then it's a waste. As much as I know it goes...
C C G# G I like it when U dance cuz it gets me hot C C G# G I like it when U shake every thing U got C C G# G I like it when dance cuz it's so sexy C I like it when U dance 4 me. If U get what I mean. 
Damn I placed the chord names over the words they hit on but it took all the spaces out when I posted but hopefully U'll get the idea. Go2 "Reply with quote" it puts the spaces back in.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was playing a C9 chord (but that's just a hunch based on my memory of the song) My Legacy

Like this: EADGBE 355443 The most important note is the 4 on the B string. Depending on the size of your hand etc you might not be able to play all 6 notes. But make sure you hit that note on the B string. I use my middle finger for the G and B string at the same time. Hope this helps. | |

The important notes are : - The root (G) - The 3rd (B) -The flat 6th (Eb) -The flat 7th (F)
It's important to play the 7th (F), if not it would be a Gb6.
So you can play it like this on a guitar :

Actually, if you want to play the full chord (1-3-5-b6-b7) you need to play it like this, the F on the D string is very important. If you play a G the chord would be a Gb6 :
