It's not that bad. lol It's just Prince being Prince. shrug

And Morris is GREAT in it. nod I look at him as the lead star in this film.

It's definitely as bad as you've heard, but in a weird way, you'll enjoy watching it.

No not too much.

To be honest i would rather have an enema at least i would feel refreshed from it afterwards.

This why I created this thread. We needed a place to go where we can be talked out of it. Sort of a community outreach program. I still haven't gotten the idea out of my head, though. This happens to me every couple months.

do you know what capsaicin is?

Capsaicin (pronounced /kæpˈseɪ.ɨsɪn/) (8-methyl-N-vanillyl-6-nonenamide, (CH3)2CHCH=CH(CH2)4CONHCH2C6H3-4-(OH)-3-(OCH3)) is the active component of chili peppers, which are plants belonging to the genus Capsicum. It is an irritant for mammals, including humans, and produces a sensation of burning in any tissue with which it comes into contact. Capsaicin and several related compounds are called capsaicinoids and are produced as asecondary metabolite by chili peppers, probably as deterrents against certain herbivores and fungi.[1] Pure capsaicin is a hydrophobic, colorless, odorless, crystalline to waxy compound.

Thank you, wikipedia.

You'll watch it, or you won't. Ultimately, you decide.

Yeah...if you set the bar in your mind really low and enjoy the music, you'll be okay. You need to see it once if you're an enthusiast, imo, but it's your call. shrug

As someone who recently watched GB....I suggest you cleanse yourself of popular opinion and give it a shot. Then you make your own opinion. smile

i love grafitti bridge, it's melodramatic and a bit silly. but the scene after theives in the temple is hilarious, and the twist at the end, although not meant to be is even more hilarious and quite creative. it's not as bad as people say!! give it a try. i can see what prince was getting at and going for with the film and even if parts of it are a bit odd, it's got a kooky charm to it. my prince film taste is as follows: utcm 5/5. purple rain 4/5. grafitti bridge 3/5 if it helps?!

I always just looked at it as a collection of music videos....no more no less.

With that in mind...I enjoy it.

Terrible movie. Poor dialogue, poor set, poor acting, poor story, and poor supporting cast.

The best parts of the movie were Morris and the time's scenes.

It was one big horrible expensive musical play. Nothing more, nothing less
