cos im lazy (rare stuff ?) i thought i'd ask you guys first.
i have some stuff from (mainly) mid to late 80s on vinyl both madhouse albums, kiss shaped picture disc, all sorts really would it be worth anything and whats the best way to sell it if it is ? <<< my future baby mama

It's worth something but not a great deal - it depends on what condition it is in. It is still collectable, although Prince items have tended not to increase in value in the collector's market over the last few years. You have to make sure you find the collector's market when you try to sell it. That means going where Prince collectors or dealers are, or where they look.

The Kiss shaped picture disc is worth most if it is with the plinth that accompanied it in the first issue. A second issue without plinth is selling for £15 ($24) on www.eil.com right now. Madhouse Music are selling two copies of Madhouse 16 on LP(different conditions) on www.madhousemusic.co.uk These are valued at less than the Kiss disc mentioned above. Of course dealers would offer less than that to take it off your hands. Might be worth contacting a couple of dealers asking them to quote for the lot, weigh that up against advertising in a record collector magazine, or going down the auction (e.g. eBay) route, where sometimes people pay crazy money - but sometimes not. .
