Prince at the 1987 VMA's...SIGN O THE TIMES/PLAY IN THE SUNSHINE

I just recently saw Prince's 1987 performance of SIGN and SUNSHINE...OMG, he rocked it! I was in awe! Is it me or did he have on a jean pants suit? LOL..nevertheless, that man is a genius!

Same jacket as in the SOTT movie during "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night/The Cross" performance with matching pants.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

i LOVE the whole drum line thing towards the end of SOTT: the rhythm of the drum pattern, the choreography, the way everyone walks out etc.

Yeah, it was good. The track was a backing track. The only "live" part of it was Prince's voice, and his guitar. The rest on both songs was pre-recorded.

But Denise wanted it to have that "Gordon Gartrelle" look, so she took it and made one of the sleeves really long.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I met her in 1990 and she had the jacket on and told me the whole story. Her first cousin was my roommate in college. One day he says "I am going to the airport to get my cousin. Do you want to go?" Of course I said yes because it was a female. So we waited at the terminal and he never says my cousin is Vanessa from the Cosby Show or anything so when she shows up I was floored.

Real sweet person.
