Although I admit that "Cat's Rap" was corny; however I still like the version with her so called rapping. For such a tiny tiny man, Prince has unbelievable presence. That video forces you just to look at him. No other distractions in the video. I have yet to see the letters which allegedly warns his fans "not to buy the Black Album". Oh well, but I heard it was right smack down the middle of the screen.

so i just watched this music video for the first time and let me say i love this song but the video is even better! it's soooooo cute! i just love all the colorful letters and Prince dancing and rocking out on his guitar and they made it short and simple and they cut Kats embarrassing rap verse too but yeah it was wonderful

What's wrong with that? I think the rap sounds like the hard version (riding a funky bass pop) of the type of things girls sing skipping rope on the sidewalk... perfect for this song with it's Electric Company/Sesame Street video. I wish there was an extended video!

And it's even cooler with 3D glasses on...

LOL, I'm not usually the one for "cheesy" lyrics, but that "yeah yeah yeah" actually accents the song quite well. Kinda like some 60's hippie songs.
