4ever in my life

I just read a magazine article that stated this was a song recorded (or performed) by Prince that was originally recorded or written by Bill Withers.

I have never heard Bill Withers connected to this song. I only heard that JFK Jr. had this song played at his wedding.

Some one please clear this up for me.

Thanks.

Forever In My Life is a Prince composition. I would love to see that article.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Here's the Bill Withers song that includes the lyric "forever in my life"...

I'm agreeing with Vitriol on this one: That "reporter" needs to be axed. Why can't folks do the homework on stuff? Even the other day, someone said that Gary Coleman died at age 40. Dude was over 40. Is he not important enough to dig up on Wikipedia or IMDB and find his age? Do we round everyone's age up or down? WTF? It's not about the age, it's just about getting shit straight.

Believe it when I say that if Prince had lifted this song from Bill Withers, which he didn't of course, that it would have come out way before now. Give us the link on this article!

But the song was kind of inspired by another song either from L.G. or Sly or someone like that. I keep forgetting the important stuff about music now that I'm taking my school leaving exams! mad

Help me out, please!

Thanks for the link. Seems Lynn Norment is on some undercooked meth.
