He doesn't look old, he looks different. It almost doesn't look like him. I mean my dad is 64 years old but he still looks like any picture of him at 30 or 20. This picture of Prince to me doesn't look like him.

I realize that we all "know" we are constantly aging. Duh. But some who poet here are quite young. Are you telling me that when you were 18, 19, 20, that you thought about, in a concrete way, about what aging really means or entails? If you did, you were an exception to the usual at that age, where people mostly feel indestructible, don't typically think about or consider realistically the future (or growing old), or what will happen to their bodies in 20+ years time. Heck, I am in my early 40s and my friends and I are constantly amazed at the fact WE ARE GETTING OLD at the little unexpected changes our bodies are making, or are a bit shocked when we look in the mirror and see those lines and wrinkles appearing on our faces! Also, add in that others who come here view Prince as some kind of deity or untouchable being who is not affected by such things as gravity and illness and other human conditions, and yeah....seeing that picture and the visible effects of 52 years of life on their icon CAN be jarring to those types.

he looks fine. and not bad for his age. but he does certainly look like he's aged a LOT in just the last year, when you look at the photos from the night of the Time 100 show.

of course makeup and lighting have a lot to do with it. and we usually don't see him at this angle. but there is a marked difference. perhaps he's just simply cutting back on the make up. or maybe some physical or financial stress is aging him... it happens.

Could have a lot to do with being caught in the middle of an expression. We've all had an emabarrassing pic that caught us in the middle of saying something or when we're about to smile, but not quite there yet.

The pic is not distorted. I think Prince looks great.

I just can't believe he was out in public with really NO eye make up on.. I do not think I have ever seen a photo of him looking so blah... and yes, he does look older.. but he IS gonna be 52.. we all age...........

I just think its amazing to see him more natural..................

maybe, I never disputed that, but I don't think Prince ever 'looked' like his dad before. If they did look alike all along then I could see that. Just in that picture, not the others, he doesn't easily resemble 'Prince'

But for Prince, I think his sleep habits have a strong affect on how he looks.
