I recall Cat saying so in an interview circa '88.

Obviously everyone who has posted so far about his eye color has not been close enough to Prince to know his actual eye color.

I've been close enough. But it was at a 3121 aftershow - where it was too dark in the room to see anyone's eye color.

I've seen him face to face and his eyes are hazel just as BorisFishpaw said.

eyes are light brown duh!

Yup. Mine can be really blue or some weird dull colour depending on what I'm wearing and the weather - and a tan makes a difference too.

I have hazel eyes. .. and the Posts are right.. some times they look dark green, or brown, or even some times they look light green

Hazel eyes reflect alot of colors...

Quick way to settle this... You be the judge, with this chart and compare:
