Prince can dance, will dance, does dance, has never stopped dancing, but the answer you are looking for is no.

Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

I think lotusboy was referring to Prince really getting down like he used to. Remember, the last time we saw him do the splits was in late 1999 on the Rave PPV special. By 2001, he was unable to really pull that off. It's also when the hip problem rumors/stories/evidence started to leak out. It was further supported when we saw Prince not only walking around in thick flip flops, (which we NEVER saw him out of heels before that), but peforming in them, and in tennis shoes (runners, sneakers). As far back as 2004 we saw signs of that. During 2006 while promoting 3121, we was wearing sneakers on TV (I think he was on Much Music in tennis shoes). He also had on tennis shoes in the video for "Somewhere Here On Earth" from Planet Earth.

I'd love to see Prince jerk out everything in sight. Being 52 doesn't necessarily prohibit someone from doing that, but I don't see a man wearing and dancing in heels for 20 years having that ability anymore at some point. It's like a real dancer (ballet, etc) - at some point the body is just overworked, and you're not quite as limber and able as you used to be. He never gets on the floor, or even squats like he used to. He bends a little bit with his guitar, but it's never far.

Prince still has some moves though, but he won't be screaming "GIMME 25!" and doing the splits to every hit from the band.

I will personally smack the next 20-something that asks this.

Um, Prince still dances. True, no splits since 1999. For the last few years, he has played guitar onstage quite a bit....that has always taken away from his dancing. Think about this: on the Parade tour Prince barely played guitar...it is also the tour that featured the most dancing/physicality by him.

Right ... I can see that. My man still hits the clubs and throws down on the dancefloor, or so I've heard/read ...
