i was listenin to scandalous today and i realized tht princes voice sounded like it had a slightly raspier tone than usual on this song. idk if it was intentional or is he was hoarse or something but i liked it. have u ever noticed this?

It does sound like he had a cold - there is a noticable change in the colour of his voice on this track. Much like "God" and, if I'm not mistaken, he recorded that with a cold. But, it sounds heavier on Scandalous, its not just the tone, its the slightly congested pronunciation of some of the words.
