1. Collab with Warner Brothers and Capable Film/documentary Folks. Take the 1999 Tour video, archival footage etc. Unreleased Tracks/B-sides plus 10 new tracks recorded in similair style/format and match the Stones Exhile Project. 1999, 4Ever. Celebrate it with a live VH1 concert featuring Revolution bandmates and guest doin versions of classic songs from 1999. Close show with LRC, Delirious, D.M.S.R, Critics and 1999.

2. Follow up shortly after with an unannounced Mini Tour of all new songs- about sex, nothing nasty but suggestive with a troupe of sexy female dancers to do the sweatin live. Mix in suggestive classics like Erotic City and and Get Off, tweak lyrics but nothing corny- folks will think the nasty prince is back. Release the album with surprise cameo's from really respected guys like Q-Love.

3. Guitar Hero

4. Let Somebody Honor You, its like the RRHOF, they give you the floor and a primetime 10 minute guitar laden performance will remind everyone of just who they are dealing with. The GOAT!!

He's doing just fine without little ole me... But, I would suggest that he make an UNDENIABLE JAM...something sexy, but not nasty, you know, i got enough problems... lol He has a combination of problems that don't add up to this happening though: 1. His ego won't let him work with anyone else where their opinion really counts. 2. He refuses to pay to play.... 3. His age - This can be overcome (Santana, Cher etc), but...see 1 & 2 4. His lack of motivation - He has the skills to be innovative and experimental, but lately he's settled for comfortable material. Cookie cutter songs aren't gonna cut it unless.....see 1 & 2 (BTW, I think his latest songs are great, but Prince stopped pushing the envelope)
What do you mean by he refuses to pay to play?
Radio Stations....major money is dropped to play those songs. It's not the happy days of the America's top 40. Record companies pay to play those songs on the air.

It is illegal to pay to play. However there is a loop hole-which essential amounts to pay for play. But most radio stations with a large market are owned by the music corporations. So, if your on their label-you will get played more. If your not on their label you wont get played as much if at all.

As for jump starting his career. Prince is doing fine. If he wanted to be the rock star at the center of the pop universe he would. But he doesn't want that or he would choose to do things differently. Whatever Prince chooses to do, I'm along for the ride. All he really needs to do is put out a mind bending, emotional, push the envelope CD and I would be pleased as punch.

He needs a producer who has the ability to say "no", who will strip away all of the excess from his music. For too long now Prince has been writing decent songs but then killing them with overproduction, and for me he really needs somebody who will stop him from doing this. We all know and plenty have commented that songs like "Fury" and "Guitar" sound great live, but on record they sound too plasticky because of the layer upon layer of keyboards he seems determined to smother his music with, and if he held back a little so many of his songs would be so much better. Maybe the producer could also tell him a simple message: be true to yourself. Back in his heyday Prince sounded like nobody else, and his records were eagerly anticipated by so many people, not just his most fanatical fans, but these days it seems he sounds like everybody else, when we all know he's so much better than that.

Serious answers, please ... (speculation is welcome) [img:$uid]http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif[/img:$uid]

Sorry, I don't counsel millionaires for free.

OK, OK ... I don't counsel millionaires at all. But, I sure wouldn't give Prince free advice.

Y'all know he's reading...
