Was the artwork for this guitar which features on the cover of this album, ever carried out?

Personally, I think it looks fantastic!!

I've only ever seen the Auerswald Model C guitar in single colour (usually/always(?) white ), so no I don't think they ever gave it a wild paint job like this.

Pity.

It was just a design element for the cover art and not meant to be an idea for a paint job on the Auerswald.

Note that part of the graphic in the Model C shape is from the same source as The Strokes "Is This It" US-version album cover.

Holy shit! I never noticed that.

And those of you saying you don't see the guitar just aren't looking. You can't see the volume knobs and the pickup selector?

I never knew that, and never would have had it not been brought to my attention.

I still think it would make for a fantastic looking guitar.

And whose to say that it hasn't (been done).

OKay I guess I can see what could be volume knobs & pickup selector, but I don't see a guitar around them. Even a weirdly shaped one.
