Throughout Prince's iconic career that spans well over a quarter of a
century. He has been influential/influenced by a lot of great artists/
bands. One question I have for my fellow orgers today is has Prince ever
take a liking to the 80's punk/post punk group Siouxsie Sioux & The Banshees?
As a young person who was not fortunate to having grown up during the 1980's
I find Miss Sioux and her delightful band of misfits quirky,yet intellectually
stimulating like His Royal Badness back during his "best" years and even now.

Nothing ever put on record to suggest this

I've always wondered if that one drum part in "Push" (off of D&P) was a sample of Souxsie's "Peek-A-Boo." If it isn't, it sure sounds like it.

I would like to now this too. They are respectively my favorite male and female artists. I do know that Sioux is a fan of Prince, and that she and Budgie attended a screening/premier of UTCM in Europe.

I'm waiting for the goth mix of When Doves Cry.
