No Madhouse sound to this at all...but what Prince is becoming is a derivative of himself, but yet original, that takes some genius!

Xpectation is way cool! An excellent blend of jazz, rock and funk as only the man can!!

It fits in perfectly with the 'Rainbow Children'/ One Nite Alone Live' vibe.He probably went into the studio and told the engineer, 'Okay, give me Rainbow Children settings all round!'

My current fave track is 'Xemplify'. Prince with added Vanessa Mae on violin and vibraphone sounds.

Maybe Prince should add a violin player to his current band?

Xpectation is absolutely remarkable. The only song I don't like on it is Xosphere. the song just doesn't particuarlyl gragb me. but th rest of the album is amazing. especially xotica, and xpand, and xogenous.
