Sweet Baby - A Masterpiece? I really think it is a masterpiece in every way and is up there with Do me baby as a classic Prince ballad.

i've never thought of it as a "masterpiece". more of an under appreciated gem IMO. wouldn't compare it to "Do Me Baby" which is more of his "classic (black) R & B ballads. Think about it, "black radio" (and its sad to speak in such terms) would NEVER play Sweet Baby. So i have it in the category of his more AC type songs that aren't "catchy enough" to be pop hits. | |
