I hear what you're saying but come on....Prince and Warners was looking to reach a wider audience lol "Little Red Corvette" and "Delirious" both reached the Top 10 on the pop charts.The album is filled with crossover potential.They needed to release those singles.

Yeah, and look just how wide his audience has gotten. You got folks wanting him to make accoustic and folk albums. Hell, I've even seen threads called "When is Prince going to do a country album". barf You didn't have none of that shit going on before he had a crossover hit. All we cared about was who was going to have the baddest and funkiest album next year, Prince or Rick James. lol
