75 degrees. Not a cloud in the sky. Time for the spring ritual

So...some of you already know this...but I have a little Prince-related spring ritual.

I live in a fairly large city, but work in a small town. To the north lies one of the prettiest drives in the entire state of Wisconsin. It winds past Taliesin (the Wisconsin home of Frank Lloyd Wright), over the Wisconsin River, and into another small town.

Every spring since I've worked where I do now (14 years), on a perfect spring day (not too cold, not too cloudy, not too windy), I've gotten in my car and made the drive over that winding country road. I open the sunroof, put on the Parade album - and drive to that other small town and back, listening to that album in its entirety.

Today was that day. Life can be so nice. cool

Very cool CD to drive to....i'll have to do that myself soon...thumbs up!
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Sounds like fun. I love Wisconsin's freeway vistas, especially in the fall. I drove from Minneapolis to the southern Wisconsin border a few months ago and you know I had some Purple jams in the CD changer.

Fuck me, they have a million state troopers on those WI roads though. Had to keep an eye on the speedo.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I took some pictures along the way. I'll load them at some point.

Yeah...troopers galore here. Fortunately, I rarely see any on that stretch of road. And on my drive to and from work, I know where most of the traps are. lol
