That's what all Prince fans say, that's why it's so good, every non-prince fan diggs it because it just does not sound like a prince record darling! only "Pure" prince fan's hate the track ...which i think is funny .. If u say so. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Probably "Illusion, Coma, Pimp and circumstance".
I made 3 friends of mine listen to "Pussy Control". What a mistake! They had an immensely vague idea of Prince and were kinda shocked when I told them Prince was, err... a man. "Pussy Control" didn't make things better. And, needless to say, the gay questions popped up immediately. [Edited 5/19/10 13:04pm]

Oddly enough, a LOT of country music fans in my area love that song. In the 90s, they played it in the country clubs and the cowboys and cowgirls loved it. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

But when you have people who know nothing about Prince's music and have a pre-conceived image (is "it" a he or a she?), "Pussy Control" shouldn't be the "presentation song". they played it in the country clubs and the cowboys and cowgirls loved it.

I'd tell 'em to listen to either Erotic City, Joy in Repitition, Damn U, Betcha By Golly Wow, Don't Talk to Strangers, Crucial, I Feel For You, Anna Stesia, New Position, Condition of The Heart or any song on Dirty Mind -bar Sister, cos y'know- and let them know that only a revolting waste of flesh can deny it.
If they're into all that Celine Dion shit then it's gonna be Arms Of Orion. Still, there's always the risk of a responses' like 'It's too cheesy 80s' or 'he sounds like a bird', 'there's too much bitch in him' yada yada
