By unpopular you mean a something that wasn't a radio hit, correct?
or do you mean something that's not a fan favorite? If by former, I would say Dreamer or Colonized mind--not pure genius, but the casual listener should be 'surprised' that's it's Prince since the casual listener normally thinks of "kiss" and "Little Red Corvette" [Edited 5/18/10 8:57am]

i'll assume u mean "non-hits" so i'll reply from that place. btw, i can't imagine an r&b fan not being a Prince fan, esp. if they're over 18. lol, but hey radio's sucked for a decade now right, so if they haven't heard
dolphin, the 1 u wanna C, dinner with delores, pheromone, for pop fans dreamer, colonized mind, bambi, electric chair, fury for rockers (all well liked but not "hits" or singles) alternative - loose, crystal ball, anne christian

She's Always In My Hair (extended)
It may be popular among us fans, but those who only know Purple Rain and 1999 are clueless about this one. And I have yet to introduce someone to this track and have them not ask for more. She has robes and she has monkeys, lazy diamond studded flunkies....

"She's Always In My Hair" is pretty well known among non-fans. Especially those that grew up in the 80s. It was the b-side to one of his biggest hits. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

i dunno if i'd classify them as "unpopular" but the kid i won over to the dark side with modern r&b crap (like you hear on the radio) from the last several albums practically gets a hard-on when we listen to Erotic City or She's Always In My Hair.

Don't Play Me.
Whenever I play this, non-Prince fans are shocked when I tell them it's Prince. 'I didn't know he did the acoustic thing!'

Co-Sign I have been listening to that while in the bathroom lately. LOL I have an iPod on a dock, with some small speakers, in my bathroom. I turn it on while doing whatever in there. I usually just shuffle, but I put on the GB soundtrack the other day. Takes me back to 1990 and walking over 2 miles to work a shit job at Arby's. (I had just moved back to Oklahoma from California.) I used to listen to GB on my walkman to and from. I'd walk home at like 2 a.m. and have that going in my ears. I really didn't like a lot of the songs on it. They seems just over done. It's taken me years to like a lot of stuff on there. I say that even more now because I know the original versions of "Can't Stop", and "We Can Funk". They're totally different songs to me. I think the album is stronger without The Time, George, Mavis, and Tevin's stuff on it. Play just the Prince songs, and it does even better. I had forgotten that I edited together "New Power Generation", both parts, into one song and put that as track 2 for the album. I still like the message in "NPG", and the gems are "The Question of U", "Joy In Repetition", and "Still Would Stand All Time" of course.

"Yeah, I listen to the Graffiti Bridge soundtrack, but only while I'm taking a dump." hahah after I typed it I thought "Man, this is going to get a funny line from someone", and you're right. It reads funny. Somehow it's poetic that GB is related to taking a dump. LOL You know, I do shower, primp, clean, brush my cats, and cut my own hair in there.

Da, Da, Da would make a non-P fan NEVER want 2 listen 2 him again. That's what all Prince fans say, that's why it's so good, every non-prince fan diggs it because it just does not sound like a prince record darling! only "Pure" prince fan's hate the track ...which i think is funny ..
