I really like this song! It's the perfect fusion of Rock/R&B/Pop from yours truly, The Royal Highness of Funky music. I don't know why but when I listen to this song probably because of the title "Continental" I start to think of a hotel where they offer breakfast as a amenity when you stay overnight or something? I don't know why?

Carmen is on most of those tracks. It's her on "Love 2 The 9's", and "The Continental". She has a tad deeper voice than Mayte. You can tell the difference when the two are compared.

I like it with that "Tell Me How U Wanna B Done" tag ending cut off.

Actually, Carmen's rapping doesn't bother me in a strange way I think it fits into the song quite well.

first half of this song is great. very 319.

It was very nearly a single, and would've featured an edit of the first half
of the song on the A-Side, and the second half on the B-Side (credited as "Tell
Me How U Wanna B Done"). There were remixes made for the 12"/Maxi-single.

It was due to be the follow-up single to '7' & 'Damn U'. But for some reason it
was scrapped and 'The Morning Papers' was eventually released instead.

I love the song. There was also a full video with Carmen, unlike the edited version on the 3 Chains O Gold home video.

I definitley like it, its got some better examples of Carmens rapping and the melody and flow work well. Its also deliciously dirty like most of Prince's best songs. Given the context its in its brilliant and builds up through the song, to make the whole thing deeply satisfying. In short listening to this song is like having sex.

"...all tongue, yeah, that's right I want all your germs..." Love this song! It's great working out to as well!
