Days Of Wild soundcheck question A while ago I heard a soundboard recording of Days Of Wild being soundchecked for the Gold Experience tour.
At the start he shouts 1.2.3 Nigga and then goes almost straight into larry Grahams hair. Has anybody else heard this and what boot was it from thanxs in advance for any help you can give me

Could it be Emporium Remastered? Folks often mistake it for a soundboard recording and it has the Days Of Wild/Hair performance which was done during some 1995 aftershows.

It's not Emporium I love that recording though.I love the bit in the Emporium version of Days Of Wild where he starts singing "If you can't get wild get out"
The recording I'm thinking of doesn't have the choruses or verses at the front it just goes into him singing larry Graham's hair.

I couldn't tell you what release it is from, but I'm pretty sure this is from a Sabotage release, and is a handful of soundboard rehearsals from Minneapolis that also included Pussy Control and Letitgo.
Amazing they are too. | |

Amazing they are too. those two tracks were bonus from the glam slam miami 07/06/95 show released as "return of the bump squad" a clean mono soundboard recording of the first 3/4 or so of the show that was supposedly recorded for an intended live album to get out of his contract, but he didn't do hair during that show, and the bonus tracks you mentioned were all that's been circulated from those rehearsals the only other soundboard soundchecks i can think of is the canal+ tv show, but he didn't do hair or days o wild having a quick check on the glam slam miami 94 soundboards, he doesn't seem to do hair as described, and those are the only other 95 era soundboards he does hair during the copenhagen vega soundboard aftershow from 26/10/02 as a track on it's own, but not with the described intro

Billy Jack Bitch ©TheDataBank.org no, it's definately not on the remastered set which caused me considerable extra seconds to find. it is listed in databank as part of the 3 disc emporium set from newpowerzounds which compiled a 1cd and 2cd set that were previously available seperately. i'm not 100% convinced it was from the sunday show as i can't remember that, and furthermore it's not on any of the npgtv/sound&vision releases i don't have that specific cd ripped to any of my pc's so i'll need to dig out the actual disc to check

Well, just consulted my dog-eared copy of the Vault, and it lists this under Rehearsal Audio Recordings. 1994 (no specific date or venue known)"Days of Wild - Hair" duration 4:00.
That would seem to be the song in question. Which boot is this on? At first I thought of the Gold Files DVD - there is a rehearsal track from Wembley, 1995. Is it Days of Wild - Hair? Maybe the Vault got it wrong and this is the track in question. Hmmm...imma hafta go digging in my stuff now to find this. Bugging me now... Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com
