don't get me wrong i thing P is very pretty but come on.

I just can get into parade. Im sorry, i tried for long time but that album just sucks to me and when i see people with parade as there top 5 it sickens me and i feel like i missing something
The only song i like is kiss.
The whole album sounds like an acid trip at a gay pride festival

Im afraid im another Parade hater. I dont really hate the album, i just dont think its as strong and as classic as people make it out to be. There are the obvious great songs but I think there is some weak moments and bit too much of a mish-mash of styles, I mean there a few songs that have a certain feel to it but then there is just straight up funk in there as well. Like the first 4 songs, Venus de Milo, Do U Lie? etc all have that certain Parade-esque feel to it but then there are the funk songs (Kiss, Anotherloverholenyohead, Girls & Boys etc.) just jammed in there as well. I think its too unfocused to be considered a 10/10 album.

I remember reading an interview where Matye said, or was said to have said, that she and Prince were each other in a past life. Fast forward one month, I read the Vanity interview in Playboy where she said the SAME EXACT SHIT. Bit of a recycled daring come-on line. I guess it worked tho...mo' power to him....lol.

As much as I like Kiss, I prefer, I Wonder U, Mountians, Girls & Boys, Venus De Milo, Sometimes It Snows In April, I love listening 2 Life Can Be So Nice (Live) and back 2 back with In A Large Room with No Light

And all the sound on Christopher Tracys Parade, just so colorful and to hear Prince & the Revolution execute that song live was magnificent

I'm not even going to waste my energy or wit, until you post what YOUR top 5 Prince albums are.

That will determine if I bother.
