"It Ain't Over" question...

Why isn't ?love credited for playing drums on 'If You Want Me To Stay/Just Friends (Sunny)'?

The folks like me (and mine) who attended the aftershow at the World in NYC on April 4th know for certain that it was Quest (not Blackwell) who played on this.

At the time, it seemed like Prince didn't even notice that it was him. They didn't speak..not even a handshake, but surely he must've known he was there.

We may never know.

Maybe if their contribution would be made officially (as a credit on the disc) it would involve some money to be transferred to their record company. Who knows for sure?

Prince tends to 'forget' to give people credit...
Like Candy's sax parts ending up on The Time records. She never got credit for that.

Right, but she was smiling all the way to the bank!
And if that was true, look where she is at right now? She must me the most bankable female sax-player in the bizz right now! I'm sure that she is not mad about not being mentioned on some Time-record!
