Best Prince remixes

What r ur favorite Prince remixes?

Personally, I've been loving the 'The Most Beautiful Girl In The World' the mustang mix and sax mix and 'I Hate U' the Quiet Nite mix.

Let's Go Crazy
Erotic City
Pop Life
Raspberry Beret
Let's Work
Little Red Corvette
Anotherloverholenyohead
Mountains
Kiss
Alexa De Paris
I Wish U Heaven
La La La, He He Hee
Partyma.....

Here's a shorter list:

Anything between 1981-1989

I like my remix with Mayte and prince dueting on "The Most Beautiful U In The World".

Also notable: "Sexy M.F.", any of the "My Name is Prince" remixes, the video version of "Willing & Able", and any of the mixes of "Space".

I'm going to include these, although they are songs in their own right, they are based off another song. They aren't remixes per se, but I like to think of them as extensions or alternate ideas on an original song.

Violet The Organ Grinder

Get Off
The Lubricated Lady
Loveleft, Loveright

I prefer the remixes that are more like new songs - Mustsng Mix, Universal Love (my fav).

Can't stand stuff like MNIP where it's just slightly different music...although that really is the defenition of a remix I suppose

I really love the Future remix. Really well done with trance, classic & funk elements brilliantly put together.

Most of you will know this already, and probably most of you will own the original versions on vinyl/cd, but a great collection of long versions and remixes can be had on 'T's 12" Archive'. It is a 6 disc collection that pulls in a lot of the good stuff up to and including the 'Rave' album. make sure you get the remastered version. wink

The recent David Alexander 'Icon' remix of Dance 4 Me is quite good too.

I've yet to track that down. I'd love to hear the finish cut.

I-Tunes has it Ernest, at least it has in the uk. Are UK & USA I-Tunes the same?
Apparently another two remixes have been recorded but not yet released, a VERY limited cd-r was pressed up with all 3 remixes and given out to dj's. That would be nice to have.
