Which 'unusual' instruments has Prince played? On which songs?

We all read somewhere that Prince can play 20 something instruments... Well, I suppose this means he can play the 'obvious' : Guitars, bass, drums, and various versions of keyboards... But I once read here on the org he could play harmonica has well... And I was wondering which 'less common instruments he plays, besides drums, guitars, bas and keys (I know thats quite a lt already razz )? Like harmonica? Horns, maybe? On what songs?

Thanks in advance smile

This may be a stupid question but is there a list of all the instruments he's able to play. I haven't read all the books about him & didn't know if it was something that was actually documented? I was aware he wasn't much on playing horns but didn't know he could actually play sax, thanks ernest!

Yes, he said so in an interview for his highschool newspaper but he also said he regretted giving it up.But Candy Dulfer said she heard him play sax on a tape some years ago and she said he played pretty well, for a non-player.

I think Eric Leeds also confirmed (was that in an NPGMC chat?) that Prince could play sax but that he, as a non-player, did not have the developed ???? (insert technical music word here) for it. It's a word like ****-ture, imbleture? (I think it refers to the technique used in puckering up, blowing the horn).
Just somewhere in the middle,

I remember reading that he could play the harp and the sitar. That's about as unusual as it can get usless he came on stage and belted out Purple Rain on a Xylophone.
