Have You Ever Used a Prince Moniker Offline?

Insatiable3's thread on names got me to thinking. Some of you use different Prince monikers (alias) in your online chat names. JoeyCoco used to be a big personality in the alt.music.prince days. We even had MiniMayte (which is a name Prince gave her apparently because she resembled Mayte so much).

But offline, have you ever used a Prince name? I've signed guest books at parties or signed up for mailing lists at a store with "Christopher G. Tracy", or "Alexander Nevermind", but even those times were rare. In the Navy in 1987-1989, I just didn't want any association with my family, so I told folks to just call me "Christopher", which is exactly what they did. To this day, one of my old Navy buddies (who found me on prince.org after a few years of losing each other) still calls me "Chris", and has to catch himself. He's about the only person who can still call me that and get away with it. I also used "Christopher Tracy" as a pen name in my 20's when I wrote poems and a couple of plays, and even a few songs as far back as 1986/87.

So fess up - what Prince names have you used in real life?

I use the name TC Ellis to get to the front of the line at Big Dollar.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

When this one restaurant I used to work at back in the 90's still had time cards, instead of my name I would just put "prince" on the time card and they knew it was me boxed

They let me do it for over a year boxed

As a senior in high school, we had a new teacher who on the first day of school said if we had a middle name we preferred to be called, we should let her know. When my name came around on the roster I told her to please call me Wendy and my bff said she goes by the name of Lisa. I don't think a day went by all year when the teacher would call for Wendy at roll call and it did not register that she was referring to me. Classmates would have to hit me to get my attention to say "here".
