OK..WHAT IS THE BEST PRINCE ITEM IN YOU COLLECTION?? I can't say that I have a really rare of favorite item in my collection...oh wait, my 12 inch THUNDER picture lp is cool. I have seen the really rare Japan "STRANGE TALES FROM THE RAIN" double lp from 1984 but have not had the cash to buy it.
What about you??? "

My favorite items are the book cover from For You and the poster from Dirty Mind and Strange Tales and Red Flexi Disc of When Doves Cry and His Prince 2 poster with the Red shorts. | |

My 28th birthday proved to be an awesome day. I had lunch with my parents and it was the first time since I was 4 (they're divorced) that I had them both together with me at once and they were getting along and happy to be in each others presence. That made my day right there.
We are eating lunch and my dad hands me my present. I opened it and nearly passed out. For my 28th birthday, my dad gave me a platinum album award for the Purple Rain album. Great question!
My favorite item has to be the "1999" t-shirt that I bought during that tour. It's seen better days, but it still fits! (t-shirts were cut much smaller then!) I wore it a couple of years ago when I saw him at Madison Square Garden along with Chaka and Larry. Someone spotted me in it and handed me this really nice note. It mentioned that I must've been a true fan since I was wearing such an old school shirt. The note also invited me to a private after party. Turns out the party wasn't as private after all--it was announced to the entire audience when the concert was over.  | |

Wow, you guys are really lucky to have all this great stuff. I don't have much, but I do have an original cd of the Black Album. I'm sure there are many out there, but I'm still happy to have it. I also have a great "import" live from Germany from the early 90's. | |

I'd hardly say I have a collection at all but my Fav. item is a purple tambourine I was given when my dad was hired to set up trains at Prince's 25th Birthday party, I was only 4 but my dad still let me go with him. Sad to say the tambourine is not in the best condition at this point.  -Dean is the cheese to my macaroni- | |

I have the Purple Rain concert tamborine as well as the  tamborine and a couple of tamborraccas. I have lots of other great Prince stuff in my collection and the collection is for sale if anyone is interested...
Lots of 12s, posters (including the early 80s posters of Prince in red shorts), vinyls, picture discs, laser discs, banners, all kinds of items that would go great in a Prince gallery or private collection.   | |

I have a really cool framed picture that my best friend had made for me one year for my bday, it's prince lying on a stage (Parade Era), I've seen the photo in books, but she had it blown up really big, like 4'X2.5' and it hangs over my sofa. I love that thing!! | |
