I believe it only uses the chorus/hook line from the Brides of Funkenstein/Fuzzy Haskins originals - but Prince adds a lot more new lyrics that seem strange as he would have to give writing credits to the original composers (?) unless he planned to give it to George Clinton? although George fell out with the original P-Funk members so he wouldn't of wanted to re-record it. ... | |
