What's your favorite song that uses the sped up vocals? I know they aren't all credited to Camille but I thougth that was a catchy title.

As far as the original Camille era tracks in the late 80's, all of them are great. "Shockadelica" stands out obviously.

I think it's gotta be Erotic City :] I mean its not my favourite track with sped-up vocals, but I think it uses them the best. If it were just plain favourite that happens to have sped-up vocals, then I'd say If I was UR Girlfriend

Rockhard in a Funky Place is my fav of the original Camille era, with Shockadelicaa close second.

As for the more recent ones with the same vocal effect I'm a big fan of Old Skool Company, $ and, yes I guess Come On too, even though till I read this thread I never really counted it as a "camille-esque" track. But it does have that vocal effect, fo sho.

P-Funk too, that's da bomb.

I can think of several songs that I don't like the "Camille" voice. A big one tonight is "Ole School Company." That "sped up voice" just does not work on this song, which if sang in P's natural voice and with different instrumentation and rhythm, would be a good song!
