I've watched the Graffiti Bridge trailer a million times because I don't have access to the movie yet

To those who HAVE seen it, as a fan of Prince, how was it? I know it wasn't well received by critics.

any of his concerts
any of his interviews


Just go into it thinking it's the worst movie and then maybe you won't be dissapointed.

I like it in a whimsical way. It's bizarre, ethereal and Prince is the only person in the world who could have made it.

On a side note, I enjoyed it. Music was great and gave the prince camp and others to brush up on their acting skillz.

You just can NOT take it seriously, AT ALL.

I kinda wonder what would have happened if the movie got a direct-to-video release like 3 Chains O' Gold did, rather than a theatrical release. Would it have maybe done better? 3 Chains O' Gold had a plot that made just about as much sense as Graffiti Bridge's did yet it does not seem to inspire the kind of "unlove" that Graffiti Bridge gets.

I say listen to each opinion, but still see it and form your own. Be swayed by opinion, either way, if you must, like a beautiful, tall, green tree in the breeze, but keep your roots solid.

If you do see it, give us your opinion. I reckon it would be worth reading, as you seem pretty open-minded.
