From what I recall, the Kim album was never recorded. And if it was, it's never leaked out. There's a fake one called Hollywood Affair that is something else I think.

Definitely worth tracking down the Japanese maxi, for the remixes. I really dig the "Purple Party Mix" of "Partyman" that's on there.

I really love during the later stages of the song Prince "sings" through his guitar, like a trippy vocoder kind of Zapp / "tongue box." Blew me away all those years ago when I first played the Scandalous Sex Suite on vinyl.

Back in my college days I played a few times the entire 19 minutes of it at the end of my shift on college radio at the end of Soul Flight 88 on WFSE 88.9 FM.

As soon as the music started, I turned the lights off, sat back, and relaxed until my shift was over.

A classic "quiet storm" extended jam back in the day that still kicks shit today some 21 years later.

Believe it or not, Partyman (The Purple Party Mix) and Partyman (Video Mix) are slightly different on the Japanese Scandalous Sex Suite CD than on the Partyman CD EP. But differences probably only completists would care about.
