why is this song never talked about here?? have we forgetton?! i just got done listening to this song for the first time and man this track is amazing the guitar work in this song is fanomenal and just a pure classic hard rock song rock on Prince rock on this song is even better live!

I'll be the 1st to respond, Bambi is a pretty kick ass song! I remember at 1st I did not want to listen to it because I though it would be gay based off the title alone, boy was I wrong!!!! Seriously, I thought he was referring to the Walt Disney character. I like the version he did on his Come album it's pretty epic.

Bambi is one of those songs that absolutely kills when Prince plays it live. The studio version is a standout on the Prince album, but not as strong as it could have been.

I mention Bambi every time the topic of greatest Prince guitar performances comes up. His rendition on the Undertaker video is still one of the best he has ever recorded. I still think the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is the greatest but he didnt record and release that.
