Andre, Brownmark and the Stones Opener

I've read that the the first night Prince opened for the Stones it was Andre that talked Prince out of quitting the tour following the rough response from the crowd, however I also heard that the next show was only the 2nd show that Brownmark had played with the band. Obviously the math doesn't work, so what is the timetable on when Andre split and Mark joined? Was this related to the Stone's experience?

Andre wasn't in the band for the Rolling Stones shows. So, maybe Andre was at the show as a guest of Prince's, or he bought a ticket and talked to Prince after the show.

Apparently, Prince went back to Minneapolis after the 1st show, and Mick and Keith personally asked him to come back for the 2nd show.

Various books have referred to calls from Mick Jagger, Bill Graham (the promoter), Steve Fargnoli and Dez Dickerson. Dez himself says that Mick Jagger spoke to him at length and both Steve Fargnoli and Bob Cavallo tried to persuade him to return. Finally, Dez states that he spoke to Prince on the telephone and Prince agreed to return.

I've not come across a suggestion that Andre Cymone was involved in discussions.

Nevermind: it seems that lately the new trend here is to mix André Cymone and Dez Dickerson, so from now on i suggest they're considered one single person falloff
