I think it is their business.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I think it is only their business, too.

But on the other hand, it is only natural human curiosity for someone to wonder about celebrities' personal lives.

Then it's also natural for people to snap at the snoopers by saying "It's their business."

Then it's natural for me to come along and point these facts out.

It happens constantly. Not just with Prince but all celebrities. Like Tiger Woods. People are so angry at him. Who cares? That is his business and he was just trying to get his thing on.

I think she used him until it was obvious to see....to his hurt and anger.

Reason i kinda think that is because of that recent interview she did in which she stated that Prince was a great way to get into new opportunities in the industy....

And his actions after the divorce were that of someone hurt i.e. bulldozing the purple house that she claimed.

...Sad.

Still, who knows.

Ummmm...it wasn't the purple house that was razed post-Mauela. He leveled that one after his dad died.

True enough. But I and others will always be curious. I don't think it's weird for Prince fans to be curious either. Why do magazines like People exist and keep publishing articles on Jennifer Aniston and Sarah Jessica Parker? It's because their fans can't know enough and keep buying the damn things. I could care less about these two women. I also could care less about Brooke Shield and Dr Phils wife, since I passed up buying both of their hardcovers when they were at the $$ store.
Now Prince is another story and I KNOW that I would be among the first in line to buy a book written by the two ex Mrs Nelsons, who are now friends. I know that I am not alone since plenty of Prince fans ALREADY payed for Vanity's book and have no clue when they will get it!!
Also maybe there are orgers who wouldn't buy the book, but I bet if someone bought the book for them they'd read every last page.
If "US" and "People" posted more info on Prince and less on Jessica Simpson, I would be quite the happy camper - if that makes me shallow, so be it.

I have never read an interview or heard of one where she said this, can you post a link.

I think, given that Prince was the center of her life for nearly 10 years, that maybe when she said that he was a "great way to get into new opportunities" she might have been rationalizing why she stayed around him so long and maybe trying to say "well it wasn't ALL a waste of time, indeed she would never be as rich as she is now had she not married him. $$$ isn't everything, but it is a nice bandaid indeed.

I think this is probably the article that WetDream is referring to...

Prince's ex-wife Manuela Testolini helps children the world over

Special to the Star

It's no wonder Manuela Testolini thinks North Americans are easily distracted by stardom. She is an entrepreneur and philanthropist, runs a children's charity and champions living a green lifestyle. But instead of inquiring about her most benevolent causes, not five minutes into our interview, I ask about what I really want to know: "What was it like being married to Prince?"

"It was a roller-coaster," says Testolini. Married in 2001, the duo met in Prince's native Minneapolis while Testolini was working for his charity, Love4OneAnother. They lived together in Toronto but ultimately divorced five years later.

"It was a very eye-opening experience to see what show business was all about," remembers Testolini. "It was never my desire to be in the spotlight, but it was a great experience because it allowed me to start my own business."

Born and raised in North York, she still calls the Bayview Ave. area home. A law and sociology student at York University, she was a philanthropist at heart and eventually left Toronto to pursue a career in Minneapolis. There, she founded her children's foundation, In A Perfect World, a non-profit organization that partners with other community-based associations to inspire and empower children.

My unashamed, quick switch from talking charitable projects to rock star inquiries illustrates one of the intentions of her latest endeavour, Project Mumbai, which supports children affected by the terrorist attacks last November.

"We hear about Mumbai and then we're back to talking about Britney Spears the next day," she says. "I wanted to keep what happened in people's minds and draw attention to the children affected."

On a business trip to visit the Mumbai slums, Testolini witnessed first-hand the harrowing events. While dining at the Oberoi Hotel, she found herself surrounded by gunfire.

Taking refuge in the hotel's ballroom, Testolini borrowed a companion's BlackBerry to email details of the attacks to her boyfriend, musician Eric Benét.

"Eric called as many people as he knew to help us get out of there," she recalls.

Ten hours later, back on safe ground, she created Project Mumbai to help pick up the pieces for the city's impoverished children.

To finance her charities, Testolini created Altru, a group of fragrance-based lifestyle products inspired by textiles and trinkets she collected during her travels. The flower cut-out copper incense holder is a replica of one she found in a Cairo market, originally used to store prayers or marriage certificates.

Each scent in the collection is aptly named after a core value: Harmony, Unity, Humanity and Integrity. Everything in the line is recycled or recyclable. Housed in reusable copper containers, the candles are soy, beeswax and palm oil. And the intricate packaging design, which oozes exotic charm, is made from recycled cardboard.

Being green is a way of life for Testolini. Speaking to me from her second home in West Hollywood, she lists its eco-credentials.

Her living room features non-toxic carpet and couches fashioned from organic cotton and reclaimed wood. And in Toronto, she's the proud owner of a home with a green roof and a hybrid Lexus SUV.

Testolini is genuinely compassionate and believable when she says she never wanted to be famous and that red carpets make her shy. As for her recent walk down the scarlet walkway at the Grammys with Benét and his daughter, she says, "I have to do those things because they're necessary for being supportive of someone else."

Altru products cost $15 to $65 (U.S) at amalsroom.com or neimanmarcus.com. For more info on In A Perfect World visit iapw.org.

Thanks squirrelgrease, she really does seem to direct the focus back to her charity. She can also thank Prince for the experience of running his non-profit (that still exists but is not listed as an "active" non-profit, which I assume means he isn't seeking donations from others).
