Okay, this might sound a bit mental, but I think about this occasionally, especially when I am with my own family or friends.

I know Prince is a supposed "recluse" and I believe he probably does spend a lot of time alone. But in this day and age where everyone and their mother has a cell phone camera or digital camera, how does Prince approach the people closest in his life to let them know to not snap a picture?

I am sure Prince visits his family. Maybe not, but probably. Suppose he is over a cousin's house just hanging out with the family, and little 12-year-old Samantha just got a new digital camera. How does he inform her not to take his photo without sounding like a dick? How does it happen that no home candid shots leak out on the internet?

Of course not having candid shots secures his mystery a lot. Sure, it's possible that he secludes himself so that no pictures are taken, but that could lead to a very lonely life and a sad reason to do so.

There are tons of celebrities with kids who have photos show up online with them in their pajamas on Christmas morning. Or just a candid cell-phone shot of a celebrity in an alley talking to friends. The worst case scenerio is David Hasslehoff whose daughter video taped him in a drunken state eating a cheeseburger off of the floor.

So, my question isn't really why no pictures exist... but the question is HOW does Prince approach the people (especially kids) in his inner circle to ask them to not take photo/video of him?

I would imagine that he speaks to the parents beforehand when he knows kids w/cameras might leap in his face. If not, lawd have mercy!

He calls one of his burly minders 2 confiscate and destroy the offending camera and then files a lawsuit against the family.

I truly think, that he doesn't visits his family... (maybe they come to him?) I mean, I can't see Prince visiting his Sister, for some apparent reason. I can't see him driving up there, pull over, getting out, and ringing the door Bell, and say Hi there sis.

He doesn't celebrate his birthday


so I don't think he needs to tell his niece or family anything about; not to take any pictures, because he doesn't come over at all.
