i have got to say this is one of my most favorite prince songs ever its very mellow and it just sounds nice to me

but i was wondering was this song ever completed? is there an extended version of this song lying around somewhere or what? why didnt he never complete it or was this all he wanted? anybody know?

Beautiful song. Short, but has much more atmosphere and soul than his recent ballads. Classic!!

yea i would say it is complete. one of those short and sweet tracks. i did a cover on youtube a while back. it's still up but youtube edited out the quiet parts so it sounds strange now. anyways classic track. i always remember reading on the org about someone requesting it at a soundcheck and prince saying he doesn't remember the chords.

if i ever got to go to a soundcheck, i'd be on that! i know the chords like no other.

ps the osulando (sp?) cover is pretty good as well

This is one of my favorite chill songs. Very mellow, Summery, cool breeze-type deal. Timeless and all that. It was a song I'd listen to with an old flame of mine. We'd just lay on the couch and just look into each other's eyes...*deep sigh*

I think Mars23 is referring to a psycho fan that was at a soundcheck. She put her CD on the stage and Prince made her take it back. She was distraught etc and told him "But I was the one who wrote the third verse for Crazy You." (As if he'd remember something like that.) She cried etc, the end.
