If you watch it on hulu.com it is right at 1:26 when he is going to pick up the baby. It's right at the beginning of the show. It is definitely a Prince sample. I wonder if he got paid for that!

I think Sawyer had a nickname for someone that had a little Prince reference to it but I can't remember exactly what he said.
I've heard the scream from "We March" in Heroes a few times.
Obviously it's from an audio stock library or whatever you call it.

Are you talking about the baby "wah"? If so, I think I have heard that in a Prince song before - but can't quite place it. But anyway, I'm sure it's just a stock sample. I doubt Prince himself actually recorded it.

That scream from We March I've also heard in an ep of Law & Order. It's definitely a sound fx library track. Is it in P Control too? Twice on the one album...sloppy!

What I can't understand is why P couldn't just get Mayte (or ANYONE) to do a scream just for fun, why does he have to consult the same FX banks as everyone else?

It could say in the liner notes: "scream - she knows!"

That baby is also sampled and looped in the Alliyah (sp?) song "Are You That Somebody".

Also, on the album Pandemonium, when Morris is sing "Kansas City", the background forest sound with the owls hooting... I heard that exact sample on a random cartoon recently.
