As they came out I liked
1999 Delirious WDC & LGC but it was when I was 13 & MTV played the Raspberry Beret video every hour for like 2 days strait that I got totally hooked. I liked Prince when I heard "I Wanna Be Your Lover" and subsequent songs but he really grabbed me by the soul when I heard "When Doves Cry" for the first time. Controversy was the first I heard back in '81 on 92.5 in San Diego. I was 7 and that was the first piece of music I remember really diggin.
