Stripped Honestly nothing is more captivating about him as a showman when it comes to the bare essentials on stage: his voice, his instrument, & his heart.
What are Prince's most incredible stripped down songs done live or recorded? Songs where the genious lies beyond synths, computers, over production, auto tune and what not. I absolutely love his raw takes on Strange Relationship, Purple Rain, Adore, and Cream. & What songs would you LIKE to see him deconstruct? Somewhere Here On Earth on Leno was incredible. Just the barest of band accompaniment, a mic and a great vocal performance. I don't care for the album version, but that Tonight Show song is a killer. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
