Prince's Worst Promo Videos? We all know that Music videos is not Prince's specialty. I was watching the video for Dolphin last night and was just thinking of how lame it looked. All hes doing is just sittin on the bed and lip synching. So in your opinion what are some of the worst Vids that Prince has made? | |

I always kinda liked Dolphin. It's nothing groundbreaking or spectacular, but it's not bad at all IMO. Here are my stinkers: *Chocolate Box *the Daisy Chain (though the footage of him playing basketball towards the end is great!) *Any of the Gett Off maxi single videos (but not Gett Off. I like that vid) *Let's Pretend We're Married *Chelsea Rodgers *When I Lay My Hands On U |

I love most of Prince's videos from Controversy to Dinner With Delores 1981 > 1996.
The Holy River, Come On, Fury, those are bad imo. Those from Dirty Mind 1980 in bikini briefs are pretty embarrassing too. imo.  Prince 4Ever.  | |

When Doves Cry. Yeah, perfect song, but the video is so lazy; cheap cuts to movie clips and an ugly split/mirror effect over the good part are what ruin it. | |

yeah I don't know what's up with Prince, a man who's created the finest music on earth but barely has no videos doing them justice.
Funny how in today's music scene it's the other way around. His best in my opinion is Purple Rain and Scandalous. A plain raw format with nothing but his talent on camera is when magic strikes.
