RAINBOW CHILDREN

Was listening to Rainbow Children today, always liked it regardless of the reviews & feedback on this site. Got me out of a bit of a mood i have been in. The music, the songs & when he says 'shit'during last december! lol. Some good uplifting songs & really got me refocused. I hope after others listening to it again, get the same type of feeling. Enjoy.

haven't listened to it in a long time as, with a few exceptions, I don't like the tracks, the voice gets my back up and the funk plays second fiddle to the ramblings of a looney...coupled with the fact aggressive religion (or any views) gets my back up.

HOWEVER, I serious doubt he actually say Shit...especially during that song, especially on this album and especially at this point in his 'career'

It has moments of brilliance in it.

And "Everywhere" is just about as joyous as anything on SOTT or LoveSexy.

I just think it's a bit long and tiresome, not to mention the Darth Vador narration being unnecessary. You shouldn't have to narrate a concept album, if you're clever about it.

i adore it and there are some freash and creative moments on there. Regardless of the message on there it had a sense of effort and craft rather than being just cobbled together like PE.

Really? So, explain the narration on Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon"! Regarded by many as one of the finest examples of a concept album and it is littered with narration!

Narration only serves to drive the story You'll be telling us that a good album doesn't need instruments next.....if you're clever about it! wink
