Wednesday? Are Prince's unreleased track 'Wednesday' and Sheila E.'s 'Wednesday Like A River' the same song? When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

No.
"Wednesday" was to be sung by Jill Jones, to the effect of "If he doesn't call by Wednesday..." One of the earlier drafts had a strong love story with Prince and Jill Jones involved. "Wednesday" was a lament by Jill toward Prince.

The studio take is not circulating but there's an early version of it included in the piano session #2 from 1983 under the title 'There's no telling what I might do'.

"Wednesday Like A River" is not a Prince-penned track.

Your dissimulate malevolence is an old act at this point. No one is raving about it. It was a question of elucidation, nothing else.

To my knowledge, this is not circulating in open circles. [Edited 4/14/10 13:46pm] "The voter is less important than the man who provides money to the candidate," - Former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens
