"New power generation Part II" appreciation

I must be the first to ever appreciate this song lol

It's so funny when Prince goes "pump the big noise, come on in da howse!" Not sure if it was meant to be funny or not LOL but it still is.

I love it too, work best as part of the NPG maxi single, with Loveleft Loveright and Lubricated lady.

Don't look for TC Ellis' album "True Confessions" tho, and if you see it, run.
Take it - like Clarence said:

"You want me to what?"

"Shake, shake!"

"Alllll right!"

New Power Generation is in my all-time top favorites, and I love Part II as well. I like Part I and II put together to keep the jam going as long as possible.

Shame that NPG had such a terrible remix on the maxi-single, though. I was hoping for so much more.

I mixed part 1 and 2 into one seamless flowing song and it's AWESOME! I jam the "NPG" track once and a while. Love it!

LOL. I dig TC's rap. Its the same rap as on his "true confessions" track (from the album of the same name of course). As "NPG part II" is built on various samples, I presume the TC album track came first and Prince just put part of it in "NPG part II"?

Anyway, thank God it the album didn't finish on the title track lol

I like the whole Maxi. I think it flows nicely. It has the Maxi 'charm'.
