"Ryde Divine/MPLS" cassette question I remember seing it sold online in 1996 but i think it was released thru the NPG catalogue in 1993 or 1994. And i'm a bit confused about this release, knowing that there was the classic MPLS & Ryde Divine songs but there also was a 12'' Mix of MPLS and i ain't sure if it was released on the same cassette-single ???
Does someone remember what was released when? [Edited 4/10/10 16:01pm] A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/ | |

The Minneapolis-single only became available through ’s NPG Stores in Minneapolis and London and remain a rare collector’s item.

I orderd the CD single in Feb 1994, along with other merch, when the 1-800 new-funk line first opened. MPLS wasn't shipped (invoice said "back-ordered") and I never did get it. Still kind of bitter about that.
At least I got the 16-track Gold Nigga CD, though Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com
