I'd sign up if it was on a pay per download basis. I'm just not prone to pay a fee to join any website that may or may not deliver something, with no promises of what that something may be.

I'd love to have an officially sanctioned site where I can pop on and occasionally buy a new or rare Prince track or two.

It would need to have a FREE public teaser page.

This page much like the old 3121 site would have occasional free streams & teaser updates. Adding a quiz or riddle once a month would be cool too. It would also need to offer snippets of music available for download (amazon style) and links for non members to purchase downloads and non discounted presale tickets.

The members only site would need to be offered on a monthly subscription basis with the ability to unsubscribe after the first 2months without penalty - if you wist to cancel after that you should be able to unsubscribe at any point.

This site would need to have*:
1 Concert streams (the dude records every show)
2 Paisley Jamming session streams
3 Guest artist streams
4 Protege streams
5 Access to his back catalogue for purchase
6 Discounted Presale tickets to all shows
7 Videos of songs (that video thing from Lotusflow3r would do if they could get
it to work without chugging
8 Pics, old ones new ones...
9 Guaranteed upload of new material once a month (im not greedy)

IF SUCH A SITE EXISTED
I would peruse the free page and download tunes from there.

Seriously once I was certain this new site wasnt going to implode, I'd subscribe monthly a minimum of £5 Maxium £10 per month. The benefits for the members being access to the streams and videos, discounted presale tickets and 1st notice of any concerts.

There are some things of Prince's that I just don't want to defend and I'm staying out of this one.

But disappointed...I am!

I'd never pay any kind of fee for DOING ANYONE THE FAVOUR of visiting his website.

That said, were he offering a pay-per-download system I'd only join if he offered the stuff in lossless formats.

Even if he offered physical cds 'only available thru the innernet' I think I'd still wait for them to be in stores.

I'd get them earlier. And probably cheaper. And they'd be in my hands before giving my money.

I'm in this journey with Prince for the long haul.
A few tracks that I don't care for or weird behavior won't change that.
The CDs, concerts, videos, bootlegs.
I want them all simply because Prince is the most phenominal performer of my generation.
