- Xogenous - Xpedition - Xemplify I loved all of them, but the song that barely stood out from the rest of the perfected CD was Xotica. I couldn't choose which was better, but this was extremely absoltely outstanding. I hope this CD is released so that I may buy it again, and add it to my ear candy for my car hehehe, or is there someone willing to help a poor girl out with no CD burner and kindly burn a copy of it for me? If so, org note me, please.

I love it all. I'm impressed with the whole thing. I don't know the difference between tracks well enough yet but I dig every one of 'em.

Xotica and Xpedition. Xotica has a fabulous sax and Xpedition offers a totally different vibe from the rest of the album. Xpedition is the most profound one.

I guess I'll have to brush up on my X's so that I can be an informed voter when it comes time on the Alphabet Soup Survivor thread.

Xpedition. The guitar on there is bad-ass, as is the drumming and the organ.
Also good is Xogenous and some others. Actually, I quite like this album!

I love the entire set, the way the violin is infused with the guitar and the saxaphone. WOW.
But I have to say that XEMPLIFY is one of my best tracks from this set. Take a listen at 4:10 into the songs. I SWEAR that right there you can hear strains of "THE ODD COUPLE" TV show theme. REALLY! The title track, XPECTATION, was played during the Detroit ONA soundcheck, twice (March 6, 2002). When I first heard it at the Opera House in Motown I thought it was a great Dixie-land jazz/Creole compilation. Loved the trombone at the end. But in taking a listen to the title track, Prince and the NPG rehearsed Xpectation before the Detroit show, right before he went into Paisley Park. XPAND is pretty groovy. IT. and XPEDITION is all over the place. All in all I have to say that Xpectation is very soothing -- all 40 minutes of it. Wonder where XENOPHOBIA fits into all of this? Not too sure. But I tell ya, buring Xpectation and the C-NOTE in order makes for a GREAT JAZZ cd. Thanks a lot Prince. This is why I dig you.

two friends of mine: non=Prince fans who got a lissen to Xpectation said it was brilliant...while they never liked the madhouse stuff..so we are not just crazy Prince fans hanging around about this album. This is great stuff. Xpand and the last number are my favorites...
