I think that 'Sign O The Times' is Prince's best movie and I see that many critics felt the same way too

Okay, I am one of those who will argue that SOTT has been Prince's best work to date, and it was by far one of the hardest to digest at first listen.

I believe if any of his works comes even close to being real art, this is the one. Everything about this work was great... the look, the sound, the feel... I don't think he can ever recreate this energy... which to me was 1 thousand times more real than the energy created in PR, because SOTT wasn't baby food for the masses.

I do think he was on drugs at this time. But it worked I guess.

I'll admit that I didn't like most of the SOTT album when it was first released. I probably only liked about 6 songs on it. All that changed when I saw the concert film.

Not concert footage, that was night club footage.
