Video of Prince playing guitar intro to When Doves Cry? Hello All!
Does anyone know if a video exist of Prince playing the guitar intro to When Doves Cry? Possibly an official release or not... I've dug through the site using the search feature but I didn't find what I was looking for... Thanks in advance for your help! -Benjamin | |

i think usually Wendy used to play the intro and the solo live on stage during the PR tour. It´s a tricky bit that intro, he uses 2 or 3 effects (flanger, octaver and one more) at once. | |

I just played it backwards. Sounds more normal going forward. Just my 
One thing that is backwards is the quick bass solo in Paul Simon's "You Can Call Me Al" It was just a funky bass part, but it was only half as long as they needed, so they just reversed it and tacked it on the end. So you hear it forward, and immediately hear it backward on the record. | |
