Good for you Chris. I can't listen right now, but I downloaded the podcast for later.

I appreciate it, man. Be sure to revisit this thread and post your thoughts once you've listened. Besides Ernest (who is conspicuously absent from this thread...a bad sign, perhaps? ), you're the person I'm most anxious to get feedback from on the Org. https://www.youtube.com/@PurpleKnightsPodcast

I'd look at it this way Bluefish. Ernest has nothing bad to say, so he'll say nothing at all!!! Just finished and I have to say I'm well impressed..Welcome to the dawn.. Was well impressed by the tunes from Kadrae as well as the comments form Micheal Dean was great to hear. Looking forward to the Gold Experience show next week. Saw the tour in Dublin both nights and they were adventures alright...with stage invasion from a girl who broke Prince's acoustic guitar beyond repair (well for the night0 so he had to do "7" with an electric guitar as well as the guy who was invited on stage Along with 5 girls so Prince could serenade them with "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" Loved the live music from that era but the album is only a mixed bag for me I'm afraid! Back to the show - I loved it! [Edited 4/6/10 23:37pm] [Edited 4/7/10 0:16am] [Edited 4/7/10 12:54pm] The right to free discussion is protected!!

That may be true, but I want him to see this thread (reply #20 in particular) so I'll know if I have a guest for next week. If Ernest can't/won't do it, is there anyone else who'd be willing to call in and chat as my main guest(s) from 10 to 11 p.m. Central Time on Sunday? The numbers are New York-based, so I (and my non-NY guests) will be paying long-distance rates until I can get sponsors, which would allow me to upgrade to toll-free lines. Back to the show - I loved it! [Edited 4/6/10 23:37pm] [Edited 4/7/10 0:16am] Thank you very much. Michael Dean threw me off of my original plan to talk more in-depth about my personal history as a Prince fan, although that's not necessarily a bad thing. I also wanted to talk more about my blog and my desire to get sponsors and develop a solid network of contacts to increase my chances of booking guests like W&L, Fink, Dez, Maceo, etc. I want to roll with the big boys in the P fan world, like Mr. Dean, whom I look to as the top dog in the podcasting arena. I also want to spread the love for sites like the Org, Entropy.tk, PrinceVault, TheDigitalGarden, etc. Strengthening the fan community as a united front is my goal; stopping the hate and promoting POSITIVITY. We may actually get Prince to listen to us if we take a positive approach. Call me a sycophant or a fam or whatever, but I believe it's worth a shot. If it works, then I'll have done what I set out to do. If not, I'll still be a hardcore fan. As far as TGE goes, I think it's a solid album, but not perfect. It seems you're foolishly guilty of what you're accusing others of being.

I finally got to listen to the podcast. Nice job on your inaugural offering Chris. I hope to hear much more of your personal insights and opinions on future shows. I know that you really didn't have time for that with the first one, but I'm looking forward to your next podcast.
